IAQ Testing: Know What You Breathe

We offer indoor air quality testing services. using laser particle counters and air sampling cassettes to detect mold spores, allergen levels, and humidity issues. This data allows us to recommend the right solution for your specific home, rather than just guessing.

UV Light Purification

Mold and bacteria love the dark, damp environment of your AC coil. We provide hvac uv light purifier installation. By installing a germicidal UV-C light inside your ductwork or over the coil, we sterilize the air as it passes through. This technology neutralizes airborne viruses and prevents mold from growing on your HVAC components.

Filtration & Purification Packages

For comprehensive protection, we offer an air purifier and duct cleaning package. We can install whole-home electrostatic media filters or active air purifiers (like ionizers) that clump dust particles together, making them easier for your filter to catch. This turns your central HVAC system into a massive air purifier for the entire house.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does a UV light do? UV-C light scrambles the DNA of bacteria, viruses, and mold, preventing them from reproducing. It is the same technology used in hospitals to sterilize operating rooms.
  • Do air purifiers help with smoke smells? Yes. Active air purifiers can break down the chemical compounds in smoke and cooking odors, leaving the air smelling neutral.
  • How often do I change the UV bulb? Most UV bulbs need to be replaced every 12 to 24 months to remain effective, even if they are still lighting up.
  • Is testing expensive? We offer affordable testing packages. Knowing you have a mold issue before it spreads can save you thousands in remediation costs later.
  • Can I install these myself? HVAC upgrades involve electrical wiring and sheet metal cutting. Professional installation ensures safety and warranty compliance.

Northern Cambria, PA Insights: Population,
Zip Codes, Influence, and Service Areas

The borough of Northern Cambria was incorporated on January 1, 2000. It was formed from the merger of two smaller municipalities, Barnesboro and Spangler. The merger proposal was taken to residents in the 1997 election, passing in Spangler 410-243 and in Barnesboro 466-324. The area was first settled by Europeans in the early-to-middle 19th century. The presence of the West Branch of the Susquehanna River allowed loggers to move their harvest downstream. Small farms developed, but the area changed in the 1890s when mining of the extensive bituminous coal fields in the area became the dominant industry. The mining companies required skilled workers, and many came from Great Britain and Eastern Europe. Railroads were built to transport the coal out, and the town flourished with the influx of money. In the 1980s, the coal industry began a decline, and there has been a subsequent decline in the population of the area. In November 1922, the Reilly Shaft No. 1 mine explosion occurred, killing 78 coal miners.
